The Pulse-Eight P8-DDAC is a Dolby Digital® to analogue audio converter capable of taking up to 5.1ch audio encoded in Dolby Digital Surround from compatible multichannel S/PDIF coaxial or TOSLINK optical digital audio sources and downmixing to standard L/R analogue stereo audio.
Stereo output signals can then be fed to external devices such as an amplifier or multi-room controller via standard phono style (RCA) jacks. The Pulse-Eight P8-DDAC ensures an reliable transition from a host of modern digital sources with Dolby Digital outputs to pretty much any analogue audio system. With both inputs and outputs for coaxial and optical connections, it provides the perfect solution for a myriad of audio conversion requirements.
