The ALT-70V-50 volume control is designed to add local or zone volume control to any 70V audio system. Perfect for use with Russound's flexible XZone70 audio system, they will any project with class defining sound control.

The ALT-70V-50 is the latest addition to the Russound lineup and takes advantage of their engineering team’s experience in the industry to bring an affordable high-quality volume control to the 70V market.

With a 50-watt transformer, the ALT-70V-50 is perfect for controlling all of the speakers within a room, handling up to 6 speakers tapped at 7.5 watts or up to 12 speakers tapped at 3.75 watts. You can even use the volume control as a master zone control with sub zones as long as the total wattage on all subzones doesn’t exceed 50 watts.

The removable screw-down speaker connector accepts up to 12ga wire and the 11 steps of attenuation with make-before-break connections means that you’ll always have smooth control over the system volume.
