Russound Launches The D1290 12 Channel, 6 Zone Amplifier

Connected Distribution, Russound’s UK distributor of 22 years, is introducing the Russound D1290 multi-channel amplifier designed for use in multi-zone, home cinema and advanced audio systems. 

Building on Russound’s 55+ years’ experience in high-quality audio design, the D1290 is the first in a line of latest generation Class D amplifiers built for the most demanding of audio systems. Its 12 channels (six zones) offer 90w per channel into four ohms and 45w into eight ohms, and are also bridgeable to 180w into eight ohms, providing ultra-flexibility when it comes to powering home cinema systems. 

The D1290 is the first product to show off Russound’s new industrial design concept, with its sleek brushed aluminium front panel. It is packed full of features to make installers’ lives simpler. The 1U chassis includes level trim, high pass, low pass and full range filters on each zone, plus two bus inputs and an individual input for each zone. Input and output 12v triggering is included, with on/auto/12v power options.
